Education and Professional Experience

She studied at the National School of Art in Havana.
She graduated from the Higher Institute of Art of Havana and from the Paris School of Fine Arts, in France.

Since 1976 her works have been exhibited in Mexico, Spain, France, the United States of America, Italy, Brazil, Martinique, Japan, Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia, Mongolia, Korea and Cuba.

Member of the Association of Writers and Artists of Cuba and of the International Association of Plastic Artists.

Collective Exhibitions and Events

She participated in the Biennials of Cuenca, Sao Paulo and Cairo.

Awards and Residencies

Among others, she deserved the Gold Medal of the First Painting Prize at the Biennial of Tenri, Japan, and the Distinction of National Culture of Cuba.
