Aldo Soler Ávila

Education and Professional Experience

He studied at the National School of Art and at the Higher Institute of Art, in Havana.
He has painted murals in the United States and Nicaragua, and lectured on contemporary Cuban art.

Member of the Association of Writers and Artists of Cuba and of the International Association of Plastic Arts.

Personal Exhibitions

Since 1970 he has exhibited his work in solo shows and collectively in Cuba, Mexico, Bulgaria, the United States of America, Czechoslovakia, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Poland, Germany, Nicaragua and Brazil.

Awards and Residencies

Majadahonda Distinction granted by the UNEAC and Distinction of National Culture.

Collections

His works are in the collections of the National Museum of Fine Arts, Havana; Museum of Art, Maracaibo, Venezuela; Pathfinder Publishing House, New York, USA; Spiritualist Foundation Monsignor Arnulfo Romero, Managua, Nicaragua.
