Education and Professional Experience

Currently vice president of the Caguayo Foundation; he obtained his diploma with golden seal from the Higher Institute of Industrial Design in 1991.
He has designed ceramic pieces both for the industry and as decoration, having obtained the National Prize of Industrial Design with the Conjunto Coral in 1991.

In 1995 he began to work on the design of furniture, having obtained several prizes in international fairs. He designed a large part of the furniture of hotels Nacional, Santa Isabel, Seville, Varadero International and of Café del Oriente Restaurant-Café, as well as the interior design of hotels Palacio O’Farrill, San Miguel, Comendador, among others.

In 2005, together with industrial designer Miguel Danilo Garcés Noguera, he created the trademark dekuba, which identifies them in each one of their design proposals.
