Manuel López Oliva

Education and Professional Experience

Graduated from the National School of Art, Havana

He is a member of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba and chairs the Cuban Committee of the International Association of Plastic Arts.

Personal Exhibitions

Since 1970 he has exhibited individually in Paris, Edinburgh, Bogotá, Malmó, Cuenca and Havana.

Awards and Residencies

He was awarded the National Critic Award Guy Pérez Cisneros.
He has the Distinction for National Culture.

Collections

His works are in the collections of the Modern Art museums of the Villa of Paris, France, of Texas, USA; of Stockholm, Sweden, in the Grassi Palace Fund, Venice Italy and in collections of Spain, Czechoslovakia and Norway among others.

Publications

He has written texts for numerous national and foreign specialized publications and has offered lectures in cultural institutions and universities.
