We are happy to know that many men and women continue to tirelessly look for paths of peace and love to contribute to the growth of a universe moved by the energy of values that may take out the best of each man; as a Yoruba proverb goes: «truth may illuminate dark-ness». The unbiased approach to an ancestral culture like the Yoruba one is already a positive step. The understanding of the Yoruba myths is a necessary sap so that the understanding of the contemporary era may flourish in our consciousness.
Men have had to wander through mistaken paths to acknowledge their errors. Let us then look for new paths other than the ones taken to date, let us then return to the legacy of our ancestors and see the rich heritage that has prevailed with the passing of time, and let us then leam the basic behavior and understanding rules from them. The Yoruba traditional society offers us its legacy, let us put absurd prejudices aside and know this legacy better.
